The Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) invites nursing educators,
nursing administrators, practitioners, and those interested in nursing education and practice
to submit for a presentation at the 2018 OADN Convention, November 09 - 11 in Philadelphia, PA.
OADN is the Premier Organization for Associate Degree Nursing, and provides dynamic leadership through nursing education.
OADN invites you to gain professional recognition and share your expertise with nursing colleagues from across the country by participating in the 2018 convention. We are seeking presenters for sessions related to education and/or practice that demonstrate innovations in nursing education, clinical practice, leadership, interprofessional education, and research. Topics are not limited and we invite creative approaches to highlight nursing education, leadership, and practice. The theme for the 2018 convention is “Population Health: A Vision for Nursing Education.”
The OADN Convention Planning Committee will review proposals for the following *:
- Preconvention Workshops (4 Hours) - November 08 - 09, 2018
- Concurrent Sessions (1 Hour)
Proposals: The abstract should be a maximum of 500 words, 250 words minimum. Additional information should include the overall purpose, a minimum of three outcomes, and overall significance. The proposal should lack commercial content. All proposals must be submitted by February 16, 2018.
Submitters will be notified by e-mail of their selection by April 27, 2018.
NOTE: Only online submissions will be accepted. Proposals received via e-mail or mail will not be accepted.
Selected Concurrent Session presenters will receive a $100 discount off a 2018 Full Convention Registration (this discount only applies to one presenter per session).
Selected Preconvention Workshop presenters will receive a complimentary 2018 Full Convention Registration (this complimentary registration only applies to one presenter per session).
NOTE: All presenters are required to register for the Full Convention (Single Day Registrations are not permitted) in order to present.
